Kathryn Himes is currently an issue manager in Caterpillars governmental affairs operation. Based in Washington, D.C., Kathryn has responsibility for the Human Resources/Workplace portfolio including health care, labor, pension and legal reform matters.

Prior to joining the Washington office, Kathryn spent several years at company headquarters in Peoria, Illinois. There she worked in a variety of public affairs capacities, engaging both Caterpillars worldwide dealer network and its manufacturing workforce.

She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech Communication from Eastern Illinois University.
